ADA Green Leaf Artist. Michelle has a beautiful voice and exceptional potential for music. Michelle has been learning vocal music and piano since she was a child, and she has obtained ATCL Performance Diploma for piano by the Trinity Guildhall and Diploma for vocal music from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Apart from that, she has won numerous prizes in various contests, including awards for Chinese Solo singing and Piano Solo in the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and Cantonese, English and Mandarin Speech in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. In 2011, she won in “China’s Got Talent in Hong Kong”, and represented Hong Kong to compete in Shanghai, in which she received favorable remarks from all the judges. In 2011 and 2013, Michelle was honored with the Most Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award at “Cross all Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Performing Artists with Disabilities” held by ADA. Recently, she performed the theme piece in “Musical Bridge – A Charity Concert for the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong” with musicians from the Royal Academy of Music Hong Kong Alumni Association. She has received many scholarships, such as the “Dr Marion Fang Arts with the Disabled Memorial Fund” and “Artists with Disability Development Fund” etc., which facilitate the ongoing development of her talent.
Besides, Michelle also shows her great enthusiasm in public welfare. She has obtained the Golden Prize of “Hong Kong Volunteer Award” by Social Welfare Department, and “The Most Outstanding Volunteer” by Agency for Volunteer Service. In 2015, Michelle was awarded the “Hang Seng-Regeneration Society Top Ten Regeneration Warriors”.
