ADA Green Leaf Artist. Wilson Yung diagnosed with meningitis due to bacterial infection at birth and evaluated to have learning difficulties, has an optimistic personality that helps him grow through adversity. He is a passionate of music lover and a die-hard fan of rock bands Beyond and Mr., with a fondness for composing songs to express his feelings. Wilson has been learning guitar since secondary school and enjoying playing the guitar and singing at the same time.
Being a keen and active participation in public performances to obtain more experience, he has been joining various singing contests since 2006, among which was the “Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New performing Artists with Disabilities 2011”, where he won “The Most Outstanding Performer Award” for his performance of “Gas Station, in memory of the Manila hostage tragedy”, a song composed by himself; and “The 4th Youth Art Festival 'Arts and Positive Energy' Youth Award Scheme 2011”, where he won the bronze award of the “Transform Division”. Wilson has also been a guest performer in many charity concerts to share his feelings and interact with people through music.
In recent years, he is currently under the guidance of different music professionals to study skills on singing, guitar performance and musical composition for his all-round development on his music talents and to seek a breakthrough on music.
