Comma Chan is a theatre artist with non-congenital blindness. In the past, he actively participated in various art activities in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, where he showed great passion in promoting inclusive art. He is now the chairperson of Inclusive Theatre “Legend of the Myth”, and has collaborated with people of different abilities, performing more than 100 theatrical stories. In 2013, he founded Theatre in the Dark, where participants can have a unique theatre experience in the dark. Apart from public performance, Theatre in the Dark also joined a project organised by the Labour and Welfare Bureau, and created a story “Song without Sound” to advocate the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Comma is now the trainer of Dialogue in the Dark and a host of an online radio programme “Fun Channel”, where he can share his life story with the public. He was awarded as “Ten Outstanding Warriors of Regeneration Awards” in 2008 and “Hong Kong Life Drivers” in 2012.
