Despite his hand spasms, Kwok Yin pursues his passion in handicraft and it has been realized into various delicate art pieces with attributes to his fervor and a single hand. Kwok Yin always spends large amount of time and thoughtful considerations to produce works of perfection, an example would be his artwork “Big Bowl Feast”, during the creation he had spent days of observations, comparisons and contrasts, trials and errors before producing the final artwork with great details, and this artwork has won him the Merit Prize at “Cross All Borders: Hong Kong Festival Showcasing New Visual Artists with Disabilities 2012” (Open Division).
Kwok Yin is also eager to share his art experience with different people, for that he has been a facilitator of mosaic art. To Kwok Yin, the beauty of art is a spiritual value, and the fervent pursuit of art equals to the love and pursuit of life. He aspires to develop in the field of art and creates more unique pieces in the future.
