Chan Shuk Fan had her passion in art ignited after her winning of the 2nd runner-up in the “Hong Kong Abilympics” rattan ware creation competition in 1995, the very first competition she had ever taken part in, after which she has been frequently participating in various competitions and has achieved outstanding performance, including her championships in the Floral Arrangement Competition of “Hong Kong Abilympics” in 2003 and 2011, as well as the speical prize in the Floral Arrangement Competition at the “8th International Abilympics” in 2011, despite the fact that she has been experiencing poliomyelitis since young. The valuable experience she obtained from competitions has unearthed her potential and increased her confidence, while her aesthetic talent has been recognized.
Shuk Fan upholds her motto of “Never give up trying, creating and learning new things” by learning sand-painting and juggling recently, where she hopes to apply her knowledge into practice to enrich her life and share joy with others.
