Teresa Ho Sau Kuen developed great interest in different art forms since young. She studied Interior Design at the Hong Kong Polytechnic in 1975. At the same time, she studied Italian with Sr. Ornorina Gallo, fine art with Mr. Marco Szeto and sculpture with Mr. Herbert Wu in the Baroque Academia della Belle Arti. Having studied Chinese painting with Mr. Feng Tze Dang in St. Joseph Anglo-Chinese Secondary School for more than seven years, she refers her background as a student with a variety of interests.
Teresa worked as a project designer for various large-scale companies. Her projects, with designs displaying the elegance of traditional Chinese architecture and craft, reached different regions including China, Taiwan and Australia. Not only has Teresa possessed rich experience in her design career, she became a lecturer in tertiary institutions and Vocational Training Council in 1988 and is currently devoted to the development of Top-up Degree Courses at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, in addition to being a consultant of the Smartwill Education Centre.
Teresa has been promoting the development of art through her active participation in different local design organizations and programmes, including being a member of the supervisory committee for the DesignSmart Initiative Programme and Design Incubation Programme as well as Honorable Member of the Hong Kong Famous Designers Association and Exco Member of the Interior Design Association.
