About ADAM
History & Mission
ADAM is the newly established social enterprise set up by Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong. This new artist agency aims to create job opportunities and increase income for artists with disabilities in Hong Kong. Shouldering the mission to promote creativity and social inclusion, ADAM aims to take an active approach with the corporate sector to create business initiatives by synergizing the talents of artists with disabilities in both visual and performing arts to contribute to society.
The Name
“ADAM” is the first man created – the first of its kind and the original art piece of the Creator. ADAM comprises the abbreviation of Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, ADA. “M” signifies the existence of countless possibilities for ADA and its artists. It reinforces ADAM’s core belief: “Art is in every Moment, in every Matter.”

About ADA
The Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong (ADAHK) promotes equal opportunities for people with disabilities to have access to and excel in the arts; and advocates an inclusive society through the arts.
Established in 1986, ADAHK is the only organization dedicated to the art development of people with disabilities in Hong Kong. With the vision of “Arts are for Everyone”, ADAHK works both in the rehabilitation field and the arts field, together with different stakeholders. ADAHK has organized numerous activities to popularize the arts among people with disabilities and promote excellence in the works of artists with disabilities in Hong Kong. We also work with the general public to promote integration and inclusion in society through the arts.
